Text Alerts

Text alerts are designed for people who regularly use the Westerschelde tunnel but don't have a smartphone. If you do own a smartphone, then please download our free app ‘WST Verkeer’. The app offers you a lot more information and is available in the App Store and Google Play.

Text alerts are sent when unplanned traffic jams occur on the route of the Westerschelde tunnel between 06:00 and 23:00.You can specify whether you only want information about long traffic jams (more than half an hour) or about all traffic jams. Additionally, you can set the days and times you want to receive alerts and for which direction. Receiving text messages is free.There is no subscription charge.
